When it comes to patients with traumatic brain injuries, Terri Schiavo said, “Where there’s life, there’s hope.” Our courageous guests include:

Brenden and Nicole Flynn: This husband and wife suffered profound brain injuries before they had even met. Disregarding doctors’ advice, their families refused to give up hope. Thanks to rehabilitation and positive motivation, Brenden and Nicole have made incredible recoveries.

Bobby Schindler: Bobby is the brother of Terri Schiavo and the Co-Executive Director of the Terri Schiavo Life and Hope Network. He works to dispel the stigma that comes with brain injury patients, and fight for their right to basic and continued care.

Collin Raye: A staple of the country music industry, Collin’s life began to crumble when his first granddaughter began to suffer from an undiagnosable brain disorder. Though the prognosis was grim, Collin never gave up searching for answers and providing the best care for his granddaughter.

Eric Edmundson: While he was deployed with the Army to Iraq in 2005, Eric was involved in an IED explosion that left him in a coma with an anoxic brain injury. After multiple surgeries, the hospital gave a poor prognosis for Eric’s future quality of life. But Eric’s father, Ed, became an advocate for his son and researched the best place for Eric to receive acute rehabilitation.
